Q: What level of user would benefit from these CDs?

A: The first three discs are geared mainly to users who are fairly new to FileMaker Pro or have used the product with little or no training. However, since FileMaker 7 is so different from previous versions, even experienced users will find some useful new features in these volumes.

The rest of the discs are at an intermediate level. Please note that the focus of the training is on learning FileMaker Pro 7 from the ground up, not just "What's new in 7," so knowledge of previous versions is not required.

Security (Volume 7) and Relational Design (Volumes 4 & 5) are the volumes that contain the most content that it is totally new to FileMaker 7.

In Volumes 1-8, the examples are presented in FileMaker Pro 7, but the techniques you'll learn are fully applicable to FileMaker Pro 8 and 8.5.

Volumes 9, 10 & 11 contain content exclusively focused on new features in FileMaker Pro 8 and 8.5.
