A: We're not going to lie to you. As proud as we are of the content of the CDs, we still believe that hands-on training is the most effective way to become truly proficient in FileMaker Pro.
Our hands-on, instructor-led classes cover similar topics in a much more in-depth format. For example, our "Fundamentals" class alone includes 3 days (21 hours) of hands-on training, and our relational design and scripting classes include a total of 5 days (35 hours) of class time.
If you have already taken hands-on classes and want to be able to review your skills on your own; if you simply cannot manage to travel to an in-person class; or if you are already an experienced developer and just want a refresher, then these CD-ROMs are a great way to get nearly three days of training content at a fraction of the cost of hands-on training.
